In the autumn of 2002 I set up a webcam - inside a chicken pen.
The UK's very first Hencam was born.

Location
I live in the seaside town of Weston-super-Mare, in Somerset, UK.
Weston is an english Victorian seaside town complete with fish n' chips, donkeys and pubs!

More Information
There will be 2 webcams located in the chicken pen, both of these are IP network cameras bought from China.

These are located about 50 metres away from the house, and are connected to the router in the house via Ethernet Network cable.

My PC is a standard Windows 7 PC - this runs an application called WebcamXP which acts as a server streaming the video onto the Internet.
